Free At Last! Free at... well... free agent anyway

My follow up project was cancelled and I'm free of a job again...woo-hoo!

Ah well, we took our vacation anyway and spent a week on the beach at Gulf Shores Alabama, away from the news, away from laptops and internet connections (I snuck along my PocketPC of course, but no news browsing), and did some fishing with the family, built some awesome sand castles and got pleasantly sunburned.

Ahhh... that was nice.

Well, time to use some 'free time' to reassess things, maybe take a new tack and start over again, again.

Hey! Looks like you had a good vacation. I was wondering where you have disappeared to. Thanks for your well reasoned and well worded answers to my thoughts. I am glad we can agree on the government infrastructure issue. :) When you mentioned utilities I honestly had not thought of things like the electric company and natural gas and you are correct. (gasp) Those do need to be be run by either PUC's or by private entities. I have not heard credible arguments for the use of fire fighters as a privately run agency.

As always I will continue thinking.

I've been meaning to drop by for a while, but I'm on line less than I like these days. Thanks for stopping by the wfb.
Sorry about the employment thang. Hope something turns around for you.
